Via Delia Artist in Residency 2022
Working in the light that floods into Delia Payne’s downtown studio was an impossible invitation to turn down. Drawers upon drawers of beautiful papers that she’s collected from all over the world were shared with a beautiful generosity and they fueled my continued series of woven images .
I jumped into this residency on the heels of my Loloma Lodge Artist Residency with joy powered by an energized sense of work - perhaps the result of the contrast between woodsy solitude and urban studio.
