Sometimes I have a memory of the way a place is that isn’t really that accurate. But it doesn’t bother me to be inaccurate because the memory, or the way a place feels, is more important. This is what it feels like for me when I think of heading up to Mt Bachelor or the Cascade lakes just west of Bend, Oregon.
